7.8 million yards of gravel on this land. There were borings done in 2018 which are available. The property is accessed by 2 roads. One, Dodge Road a paved road in Bennington, which goes to the lower part of the land and abuts another gravel pit. The road is a Town Maintained road until it gets to the Greenfield line, then is a class 6 road which you need to go approx. 200 feet to get to this land. The other access is Muzzy Hill Road in Greenfield. Take the road all the way to the end, which is a Town Maintained gravel road. When you get to the last house, you go another 300-400 feet to the land. The frontage on this side is also not town maintained, however I drove my Cadillac to the land on both entries of the land. The 2 roads that accesses this land connect, but are Class 6.
Obviously this land is not for everyone. If someone is after the best of the best, read on. Due to the time of the year I was not able to get a drone there yet for the pictures that will show you how this is one of a kind opportunity with 360 degree views you only dream of or only see in the movies. This is actually 3 lots, so if one is after a compound, multiple houses, or just a house that sits on the top of the world you need to see this. Larger lot (20 plus acres) has the driveway roughed in (I drove my Cadillac to the top) which is approx. 1/3rd of a mile long. Once at the top, there is approx. 2-3 acres that have been cleared (see the pictures) where you could place your estate. Beautiful, private.... The second largest lot also has a long driveway in, but does not have a home site cleared like the best one does.
